Please note that Craftsia is not a store and only provides a median between the buyer and seller and will not be involved in the actual making or delivery of the product. The following terms and conditions hold good to all users of Craftsia who register, buy or sell at Craftsia.

General

1. Make sure that you use meaningful user name for registration. You cannot use admin, craftsia etc. as part of your user name. Also ensure that it doesn’t contain words that are racist, vulgar or in general hurting to anyone.

2. Don’t spam the site and don’t leave your website’s url, social networking links, any advertisements, endorsements or contact details in your comments about the products.

3. We have made the site efficient yet simple to use. But if you are stuck somewhere, do contact our help section. If what you are looking for is not present in our help section, then contact us through support@craftsia.com . Suggestions are also welcome.

Buyers

1. Please note that handmade items cannot always have the perfect finish as that of machine made items and that is what makes handmade products exquisite. As someone interested in procuring handmade items we hope that you understand the hard work, time and effort spent on bringing this product to you. Think twice and check the product and its description thoroughly before you order so that you can avoid future cancellations or returns.

2. If you have any queries about the product you have ordered we recommend that you get in touch with the seller through the shop’s ‘contact us’.

3. Please read the return/shipping policies of the shop before purchasing from it.

Cancellations

1. All cancellations have to be requested for before the order ships.

2. Products once shipped cannot be cancelled.

Returns

1. If in case of return, do contact the seller and work towards a mutual solution within three days of receipt of the product.

2. Maintain all the documents regarding the product delivery.

3. Make sure that the products you return are in the same condition in which you received.

4. The site or the seller will not bear the return shipping cost. And only the actual amount of the product (minus the shipping charges) will be refunded.

Disputes

We at Craftsia sincerely wish that you have a satisfying experience of buying products through us. Nevertheless we would like to help in case of a dispute. Make sure that you have contacted the seller to settle any issues and if nothing else works out please contact us at support@craftsia.com. We will do our best to facilitate a resolution.

Sellers

1. Choose appropriate Shop Name that is not copyrighted by others. Preferably your shop description should try to project the kind of product it sells.

2. If your products are not handmade articles then you cannot sell them on Craftsia.

Listing Products

1. A well portrayed product is the one that attracts many visitors. Please make sure that you have good quality photographs of your products on display. Don’t hide any imperfections and do post original photographs. Take pictures from different angles and in natural light whenever possible. Craftsia allows a maximum of five photographs for each product. Try to make use of it to your best.

2. A good description goes hand-in-hand with a good quality picture. Put yourselves in the buyer’s shoes and cover everything in the description that you as a buyer will be looking for. Be honest in your description and state down any imperfections too while highlighting the best feature of your product. This will help you avoid future returns or disputes.

3. You are free to set your shipping/return policies.

4. Craftsia doesn't include any tax in the calculation of commission. It is the responsibility of the seller to include VAT and other taxes payable to the government in the cost of the products directly. For outside india shipping if there are duty charges and other specific charges, the seller has to address it accordingly with the buyer. Craftsia will not be responsible for it.

Shipping

1. Make sure that you ship the products within the stipulated time if it is a custom order or within three days from the date of order.

2. Use reliable services to ship your products. Make sure that you include a note to the buyer when you change the status of the Order to 'Shipped'. Do include the transaction number of the courier along with your note. This will prove helpful if at all a dispute arises. 

Canceling Orders

1. Make sure that you honor all the transactions made with your shop. If for some valid reasons you are not able to ship the product we recommend that you attach a note to the buyer detailing the reason for cancellation

Customizing orders

1. If you have agreed to customize your products according to the customer please confirm with the customer through email before proceeding with the shipping.

Returned products

1. If the customer contacts you about returning the product please find out what the issues of the customer are through email and try to work things out amicably.

2. If you do not accept returns, specify it clearly in your policies.

Payment

1. Within 14 days of the product being shipped if you have not changed the order status to 'Cancelled' or 'Returned' we will assume that the transaction has been successful. And the payment will be made available to you. 

2. You can request for cheque once your payment has crossed INR 1000. If you need to withdraw before that then a cheque fee will be imposed.
